G-POWER M6 HurricaneCS is the World’s Fastest BMW Coupe

G-Power, German tuners, built the fastest BMW Coupe ever. More details here.

G Power, a German BMW tuner, claims to have created the fastest BMW Coupe ever made. According to G-Power, the G-Power M6 Hurricane CS can reach speeds of more than 370 km/h.

The outfit didn’t reveal the exact location or time they achieved this feat. They also didn’t mention the M6 Hurricane’s top speed. We only hope that this information will soon be available.

We do know that the car has the power to reach what G-Power claims it can. The V10 SK III RS twin-supercharged engine is used in this car. The 750 horsepower engine was used to win the title of World’s Fastest Sedan. It reached a speed of 367.6 km/h. Because it has a more aerodynamic body that the sedan, the M6 should be capable of surpassing this.

The air is cooled by a water to-air cast-aluminum cooler and then pushed into two ASA T1-316 belt driven superchargers. These units have no supercharger lag, according to the company. The throttle response and increase in torque are both instantaneous. 800 Nm peak torque at 5,000 rpm. Upgrades to the exhaust, seats, and suspension helped reduce weight. The car is kept on the ground by a new carbon fibre wide-bodykit with a new front apron and vented bonnet. Rockers, wheel arches. diffuser, rear bumper, rear apron and rear wings. Micheline Pilot Sport PS2 tires are used to connect the car to the road. They are wrapped around custom light-alloys 19-inch wheels. Extreme deceleration is provided by carbon-ceramic brakes and six-piston piston calipers.

Speed tests required a tire and wheel change. G-Power claims that the 21-inch Silverstone Diamond wheels and the normal tires would not withstand speeds exceeding 340 km/h.

The G-Power Hurricane CS’s speedometer can reach speeds of up to 400 km/h, making their point clear. The car’s price starts at EUR360,000.
