This 700hp beast was born out of Gemballa’s venture into Italian territory. Although the MIG-U1 was inspired by a Ferrari Enzo, it should be a meteorite.
GEMBALLA is best-known for its work on Porsche cars. However, they want to show that they are not tied to the German sports brand. Now we have many photos and details about this U1, which is based on Ferrari Enzo. The V12 engine now produces 515kW (700hp). The spoiler lip on the new front skirt generates up 35kg (77 lbs), and door extensions are provided for the diffuser or rear spoiler. The extensive cooling system ensures that the brakes remain at the optimum temperature in all wheel-houses. The rear flap lowers at speeds exceeding 120km/h (75mph). Through the air inlets on the roof and behind the doors, fresh air is drawn into the engine bay. The car measures 80mm (3 inches) longer at the front and 100mm (3.9 inches) farther back.
It almost touches the ground because it needs to be as close as possible to the ground to reach impressive speeds. An optional electro-hydraulic height adjustment system can be added to allow for easy runs over speed bumps and other obstacles. It can lift the thing up to 45mm (1.7 inches). The wheels are 10×19 inches forged rims at each end and 13×20 inches at the back. They are covered in 265/35 or 335/30 tyres. The interior will offer customers a variety of amenities such as satellite navigation, a DVD changer and an iPod connection.
