The Genesis G90 Luxury sedan is the epitome of Hyundai’s premium Genesis brand. In 2017, the G90 was introduced as a luxury halo vehicle for Genesis. They used the G90’s model to build their other cars. The G90 was refreshed for 2020 with new features and a competitive price.

According to CarsDirect the 2020 Genesis G90 comes in two trims. The Genesis G90 Premium 3.3T Premium is the least expensive trim, starting at $73,195. The 3.3T Premium G90 has a 365 horsepower twin-turbo V6 that produces 3.3-liters. It is similar to the one found in the KIA Stinger GT or Genesis G80 Sport. The 5.0 Ultimate G90 sedan features a 420 horsepower V8 instead of the G90 Premium V6. Customers who want the V8 for their G90 will have to pay $76,695.

The standard Genesis G90 uses an 8-speed automatic transmission to send power to the rear wheels. For a $2,500 premium, Genesis offers all-wheel drive on both engines. A G90 5.0 Ultimate equipped with all-wheel drive will increase the price to $79,195. It may seem outrageous to spend nearly $80,000 on a luxury car of unknown origin from a brand you don’t know, but the G90 offers serious luxury. The G90’s new 2020 model features 22-way adjustable front chairs that can be set up based on the passenger’s height, weight and inseam.

The G90 offers trick adjustable seats and over-the-air software updates. To offer maximum features, this display can be set up as a split-screen layout.In the rapidly shrinking luxury sedan market, the Genesis G90 is fast  becoming a major player. The G90 has become more symbolic than a volume seller as more customers opt for SUVs.
