Geneva unveils Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept

Lotus unveils the GT concept, which will be used as the foundation for all GT2/GTE racers. Evora Enduro will make its debut at the 24hr Nurburgring Race in June.

The Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept, based on Evora GT4 Endurance Racer, has made its debut in Geneva.

Lotus Motorsport’s Enduro was created under the guidance of Nicola Scimeca, and will serve as the foundation for all GT2/GTE homologated FIA spec racers. The 24hr Nurburgring ADAC race will be the debut of the new racer.

Lotus didn’t release any specifications about the car.

Geneva unveils Lotus Evora Enduro GT Concept

The Lotus Evora Type 124 Endurance racecar had a 4.0 liter V6 from Toyota with a power output of 395 bhp (295 kW /400 PS), mated to a six speed Cima sequential gearbox. It weighed just under 1200kg/2646 lbs.

The Enduro, as it is appropriately named, will race at the Spa 24hr Race in Belgium in July and at 24hr Silverstone in October.

Lotus plans to also enter the Enduro in endurance races in Dubai, Daytona and Dubai in 2012.
