Even a dog kennel is available.
Protec Q18, a German motorhome is full of unique features. Two slide-out panels add almost four feet (1.2 meters), to increase living space for those times when it’s time for rest and stop. Although the video is in German, the visuals are sufficient to explain what’s going on.
The Q18’s 18-square-meter interior area is what gives it its name. The motorhome is equipped with power-extending steps that allow you to get into the vehicle. The most amazing feature is one you won’t find on a motorhome this large. The toilet and shower are separated. Although it may seem complicated at first, this allows for someone to clean up while another person uses the bathroom. Further back is the main sleeping area, which includes a raised mattress. You can also enjoy a great view of the stars from the area’s roof by opening the panel. Cupboards can be used to store clothes.
The kitchen features a large sink as well as a gas stovetop with three burners. Other amenities include a refrigerator, oven, freezer and microwave. The large table is large enough to accommodate at least six people.
The Iveco Daily is the basis of the Q18. The engine produces 207 horsepower (155 Kilowatts) as well as 347 pound-feet (347 Newton-meters). An eight-speed automatic transmits power to the dual-wheel rear axle and locks differential. You can see the access point to the dog house from the main sleeping area. There is also an opening on the exterior’s rear side for the dog kennel. On the opposite side, you will find a small camping stove as well as a slide-out television.
