Temporary range-topper is the HTML63, available as an LWB model starting at EUR160,293 and boasting a massive 612 horsepower (450 kW) along with 900 Nm (664lb-ft), generated by the 4.0-liter V8 that replaces the old 5.5-liter unit. The SWB version will be joining the family in the latter part of the year, as will the V12-powered models.

An S Class can be priced higher than the base model, as Mercedes offers a wide range of options for customers who are willing to check the boxes in the configurator. The Driving Assistance package costs EUR2,737, while the Ultra Range Highbeam feature is available on all versions. It works with the standard LED headlights for the S63 and S560. Although U.S. pricing has not yet been released, we know that the new S-Class will be available in the States this fall.
