Manhart Performance CRT 800 800 is the latest offering by the German tuner. The Porsche Cayenne Coupe Turbo is used to drive the engine up to 796 horsepower (804 pound-feet) (1,090 Newton meters). This is a significant improvement on the stock 541 horsepower (404 kW) or 567 lbft (770 Nm).
Manhart installs different turbos and an intercooler to achieve power upgrades. ECU software tweaks are available to ensure everything works together.
Manhart installs an exhaust system that includes a valve for changing the sound and three-inch (100 millimeter) circular outlets. You can choose to have them carbon- or ceramic-coated.
Manhart offers downpipes that have 200-cell catalytic convertors and OPF-delete substitute pipes. These pieces are not approved by TUV, so they aren’t available in Germany. They can only be exported to customers.
The suspension of the crossover is 1.38 inches (35 millimeters lower). Manhart uses new coupling rods and retains the factory air suspension.
Manhart has dressed the Cayenne Coupe turbo in black, with gold stripes along the sides and hood. The front fascia, wheel spokes and brake calipers are accented with the precious metal’s colors.
Manhart will soon offer its own carbon fiber front spoiler as well as a rear diffuser to the Cayenne Coupe turbo. These are not available on this vehicle.
It is equipped with 22-inch, 10-spoke wheels. They are 10.5 inches wide at the front and 11.5 inches back. Manhart also offers them in other colors.
The Cayenne Turbo , Porsche’s version of what Manhart is doing, is Porsche’s answer. The 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 is now capable of 631 horsepower (471 kW) as well as 626 lb-ft (849 Nm). New components were added to the engine’s crankshaft, pistons and connecting rods. A modified eight-speed automatic gearbox executes quicker shifts.
Turbo GT’s air suspension rides 0.7 inches (17 m) lower than stock. Depending on the mode selected, the system can also be up to 15% stiffer. The wheels are 22 inches wide at the front and 1.0 inch wider at the back. Standard brakes are ceramic-composite.
