Full-size SUVs are a fascination in the United States, particularly those made by General Motors. Black Chevrolet Suburbans are everywhere. This includes prom parking lots and secret divisions of CIA. While we’ve seen many SUVs in limos or mobile offices over the years there was one that caught our eye on Autotrader Ohio. It’s a stunningly affordable $100,000. We’ll get to that later.
Custom Suburbans For Everyone:
The rig is dressed in a dark shade of intimidation, but it’s much more than a long Suburban. The roof is raised to provide additional headroom. This is a very important feature when you want to get the party started before it gets to the actual party. This Suburban seems to be loaded with luxury electronic systems, leather accommodations and wood flooring. It does not have extra seating. A Suburban can hold seven people, but this vehicle only has six seats.
This ad claims that this model is 2016 and, aside from the tacky CEO badge you can see on the outside of the vehicle, it’s actually quite low-key. The wheels appear to be in stock Chevrolet gear with basic LS trim. It’s done 22,500 miles, and if we’re honest, it feels a little thin for that near-as-makes-no-difference six-figure asking price. Although a stretch conversion can be expensive to build, it could cost $99,700 for a set of Cadillac Escalade tires.
This conversion is more like a high-end executive office than a party limousine. We think that going slightly under the radar is a better option in such situations.
