For the 2022 model year, the first GMC Hummer EVO pickup truck will be available in the Edition 1 color. But, the American carmaker hasn’t stopped its electric offensive. GMC teased the arrival of an SUV version on YouTube, before it was revealed globally on April 3, 2021 at 5:05 PM EST.
The Countdown is a teaser that announces the availability of the Hummer electric SUV for reservations on the day it launches. The Edition 1 Hummer electric truck was sold out in less than an hour after its unveiling. Interested buyers should act quickly.
The teaser footage embedded below doesn’t provide much information. It has the previous teaser stated, apart from the cinematic appearance of a heavenly being on Earth. The most important thing is that a spare tire can be attached to the tailgate, as shown on the shadowy figure.
GMC is not able to hide so much from the outside world. GM used the backdrop of the Hummer electric SUV to present its concept at a November 2013 presentation. Although we cannot be certain, the SUV’s front will likely adopt the truck’s fascia and interior elements.
The Hummer EV SUV’s 350-mile range is expected, along with the tri-motor setup of 1,000 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of just three seconds. Now, the pricing is the only thing that remains.
More details will be revealed when GMC unveils the electric Hummer SUV in just a few days. It won’t come cheap though, given the $112,595 price of the Hummer Electric Vehicle Edition 1.
