Which would you choose?
We know the GMC Hummer EVO is coming, but we don’t know when. But we do know it will be this fall. As the excitement builds for the return of the nameplate’s electrifying presence, more and more information is being released. Its wheel design has been leaked online.
Although the wheel design may be different, it is also smaller than the teased image. This is purely based on the tire profile.
This illustration was supposedly taken from a GM-focused publication. The entire photo depicts the platform of the upcoming Hummer EV. It shows electric motors at the front and back as well as the GM-promised Ultium battery, which is supposed to offer long range and high efficiency. It remains to be seen if this will match the production Hummer EV.
The upcoming Hummer EV will be available in two versions: a pickup truck and an suv. It will be assembled at GM’s Detroit Hamtramck assembly facility in Michigan alongside the new Cadillac Escalade. According to the company, the new GMC Hummer, which will be fully electric, will have a maximum power output of 1,000 horsepower and a torque output of 11,500 pound-feet.
The 2022 GMC Hummer EV will be available in a few weeks, but production of the iconic returning vehicle won’t start until fall 2021.
