GMC Hummer EV Window Sticker Will Not Include MPGe Ratings

GMC has the option of displaying the figures or not due to the EV’s GVWR.

The Monroney window sticker that you will see on new cars from the dealership is regulated under law. The sticker must include information such as the price, the equipment list and the safety ratings. The majority of stickers display the fuel economy rating. However, the GMC Hummer EVO will not be doing this when it arrives. The Hummer Ev is a heavy machine. GMC will be able to decide whether it wants to display MPGe ratings.

GMC spokeswoman confirmed to Car and Driver that the Hummer EV’s window sticker would not display the fuel economy rating. General Motors is also developing large electric vehicles, such as the Silverado EEV. These vehicles may not display the rating. The fuel economy rating is not required for models with a gross vehicle weight rating of over 8,500 pounds (3.855 kilograms).
