It’s Fastball, and it would not be wrong to call it that.
Bobby Patton, the owner of the LA Dodgers, is regarded as the second most successful Major League Baseball franchise and the second wealthiest in Major League Baseball. He has much to celebrate with his brand new car that’s more than just a celebration.
Introduce “Fastball” Ford Raptor Jimco Racing Inc. built a trophy truck specifically for Patton. It would be an understatement to call it bonkers or gnarly, but that’s what we are using for now.
The Fastball is a Ford Raptor custom-made with a blue livery. It has white decals that make it unmistakably LA Dodgers. It was announced recently, but it had already been completed by November 2018. Why? Beats us.
This Ford Raptor’s extravagant exterior design is more than just the paintwork. The Bead Lock, 17 inches tall, is trail-ready and surrounded by 40-inch BF Goodrich KR3, which combine for exceptional off-road performance. Fox suspensions (26-inch, 32-inch front- and rear-wheel travel suspensions), and a set LED lighting are complemented by those wheels.
Baja is Crazy! You should check out these crazy builds:
Baja 1000 racers will be able to use the Fastball, which was specifically designed for them. The Drive reports that Patton and his team (not Dodgers), want to match Patton’s intensity in off-roading. After an accident win in the Baja 1000, the interest grew and gave rise to Fastball.
The Fastball’s powerplant is a foreign one – a Chevrolet Power LS3 tuned by Danzio Performance. The turbo 400, a three-speed Turbo 400 from Gearworks, is its help. However, power figures were not disclosed. Fastball’s interior features Impact HS1 seats as well as Impact safety harnesses and window nets.
