Goodwood: Watch Supercars from Bugatti, Porsche, Ferrari and More climb Goodwood

Amazing cars filled the first day of this iconic event.

The 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed’s first day is over. Rain did not stop some of the action. However, it didn’t stop the multitude of exotic cars and concept cars from taking to the hills. This compilation video from the Goodwood crew shows some of the most interesting vehicles that made an appearance. This clip features what may be the most anticipated hypercar. The Mercedes-AMG One displayed a display of speed and technology, stopping mid-course in order to activate its high-performance aero components before accelerating to the finish line. Ford’s wacky Electric SuperVan was next, and made no pauses as it climbed the hill. The BMW’s new Touring made a slow trip through the rain, which also hindered passes from Polestar or Bugatti. The wet track also affected the three-wheeled Electra Meccanica as well as the Charge electric Mustang.

Travis Pastrana had nothing to worry about and that’s not surprising considering he didn’t have water to worry about. He was not shy about the throttle in his wildly customized Subaru GL wagon gymkhana vehicle. This pass revealed the wagon’s innovative active aero components for braking. Czinger, Ferrari and 911 Sport Classic were followed by Czinger and Ferrari . They all wowed crowds with their exotic supercars.

The video ends with three different, but equally impressive vehicles. Genesis drove its enormous Electrified-G80 to Goodwood in an exhilarating drive. The Prodrive made an in-person appearance at the event, giving classic Subaru rally enthusiasts butterflies in their stomachs. The stunning Ferrari SP3 Daytona finishes the video. It struggles to traction on a very slippery track, but looks absolutely beautiful in the mist. What will Day 2 of Goodwood bring in automotive goodness? Motor1.com has the livestream.
