The Opel Astra Google Street View car was driving on streets in Pozega, Zlatibor District of Serbia. However, the driver lost control and struck a pole. Before coming to a halt in the nearby bush, it hit another pole.

The crash resulted in no injuries to anyone, and there were no other vehicles involved. However, the vehicle will need to undergo minor repairs such as replacing the front bumper and front right front fender. The hood needs to be repaired quickly and the front right fog lamp will need to be replaced.

Google has created an electric self driving prototype to help them develop autonomous vehicle technology. This is according to a Morgan Stanley report that all cars will become autonomous by 2046.
