H2X declared its intention to place Australia on the map in the production of hydrogen fuel cell EVs more than a year ago. H2X has a range of vehicles, including a van, minibus and tractor. It hopes to have one of these emission-free vehicles in the market by July 2021. Although that was not possible due to funding problems, it doesn’t mean that H2X Australia isn’t in the mix. H2X Global is now back with funding from Liberty Energy Capital. The firm launches its first vehicle, Warrego. It is based on T6.
Ford Ranger However, it has no direct negative effect on the environment. Brendan Norman remains at the helm for H2X Global. Although he has a vision of high production in 10 years, it is not yet possible to see the vehicle on the road.
Named after a Queensland river, the Warrego FCEV was created. Although it was initially intended for internal engineering development purposes, customers have expressed interest in the FCEV. H2X Global’s website states that it has received orders from Malaysia and the Netherlands, in addition to those from the Land Down Under. Normal informed CarSales five countries of the Old Continent that they will be receiving Warregos.
According to Ford, the converted Ford Ranger hydrogen FCEV can be ordered in a variety of drivetrain configurations and body types including dual-cab. H2X Global lists the Warrego as having a payload capacity of 1,500 kilo (3,307 pound), which is far more than what a Ranger can haul. The power output is estimated to be around 94 horsepower (70 Kilowatts), but it could go higher as the product develops. H2X Global will begin conversions in September. Demonstrations are expected to start by November. Sales are expected to start in April 2022.
