It’s also about passion and skills, but it’s also for a good cause.
Hank Robinson, of Hanro Studios, started the business as an engraving studio for automobile parts such as intakes and wheels in 2011. He is an artist who specialises in engraving metal objects and turning them into intricate pieces. Hanro is an artist who has the passion and skill to engrave metal objects. It was only a matter time before he decided to engrave entire vehicles. This is exactly what happened in 2015.
Ford created an all-aluminum F150, and Hanro realized that it was time to make his passion a big-scale business. Hanro currently has many clients, including celebrities, musicians, and neighbors. West Coast Customs also asked Hanro to engrave Kid Rock’s Cadillac with his design.
Below are his most recent works, taken from Hanro Studios’ website.
Robinson’s work goes beyond business. The Freedom Blues was his first large-scale project. It was a tribute for soldiers who died on the battlefield. Robinson, a veteran, was able to recall his own experiences and create a tangible reminder of their experiences.
To finish Freedom Blues took him 900 hours, including live engraving sessions at the 2016 SEMA.
Art Cars is not just about art. Passion and experiences precede these masterpieces.
Robinson, a veteran himself, is active in veterans charities. Robinson is passionate about raising awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, a condition many former soldiers still have to deal with after returning from the front lines. He donates a portion of his income to charities that support this cause.
