Hennessey Converts Ram TRX into a Seven-Seat SUV with 1,000 HP

It starts at $375,000.

Hennessey is proud to present the Hennessey Mammoth 1000 SUV. This new creation goes beyond its usual range of performance upgrades. The vehicle started life as a powerful Ram 1500TRX pickup. Hennessy modified it with custom bodywork and an interior that can seat seven. This is plenty of space to accommodate the entire family. It wouldn’t be Hennessey without power and the tuner delivers.

To create an enclosed cab, the tuner raised the roofline above the bed and built a new Cpillar that extends from the taillights. Although interior photos were not released by the company, it did say that there is “excellent luggage storage” behind the third row seats. The tuner is not the first to convert potent pickups into SUVs. Hennessey also did the same thing with his VelociRaptor in 2015, a modified Ford Raptor.
Hennessey Converts Ram TRX into a Seven-Seat SUV with 1,000 HPThe tuner boosts the 6.2-liter V8’s 702 horsepower (523 kilowatts), and 650 poundfeet (881 Newton meters) of torque to 1,012 HP (754 kW) & 969 poundfeet (1.313 Nm). The truck-turned-SUV is capable of traveling 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and the quarter-mile in 11.4 seconds, at 120 mph (193 Kph). Hennessey can get more output from its 2.65-liter supercharger, pulley upgrades and high-flow catalytic convertors.

Hennessey’s Mammoth off-road pack includes a 2.5-inch suspension lift and 20-inch Hennessey tires. 35-inch offroad tires are also included. The front bumper is custom with LED lights. Hennessey will charge $375,000 for the upgraded TRX, plus shipping and taxes. The tuner intends to make only 20 SUVs.
