Hennessey plays the Ford Taurus SHO

Hennessey Performance was asked by the owner of a 2013MY Ford Taurus HHO to install the MaxBoost445 Performance Enhancement.

The same 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine produces power, but instead of the stock 272 kW output (445 bhp), it now generates 445 BHP (332 kW). The Taurus SHO can sprint from 0-60 mph (0-96km/h) in 4.3 seconds, and quarter mile in 12.8 seconds at an impressive 109 mph (175km/h).

The engine’s ECU was remapped and a stainless-steel cat-back exhaust system was installed. This resulted in a higher output. Other modifications include serialized dash, engine plaques, “445Boost” and “Hennessey” badges, as well as embroidered headrests.

The limited warranty on the tuning kit is one-year or 12,000-mile.
