Hennessey ‘s tuned Ford F-150 V8 VelociRaptorV8 shows its power in a new vehicle. The tuner lines up the supercharged truck against a standard Chevrolet Camaro SS conversion in a series drag races. These two cars are very similar, but they can be quite close rivals at the drag strip.

Hennessey VelociRaptorV8 places a supercharged, 5.0-liter V8 under a Ford F-150 Raptor. The supercharger, a 2.9-liter unit, delivers 7 psi boost to the engine and 758 horsepower. According to the company, the VelociRaptorV8 produces 557 horsepower (415 kW) and 449 pounds-feet (609 Newton meters) at its wheels. According to the tuner, the muscle truck can travel 60 miles per hour (96 km/h) in 4.1 seconds. It also crosses the quarter-mile in 12.2 secs. Prices start at $147.950 and include the Raptor donation vehicle for all work.
