This prank only one Pontiac Grand Am GT GT was hurt.
Four Cumberland High School seniors in northwest Wisconsin are the masters of senior pranks. My senior year, someone dropped hundreds upon hundreds of bouncy balls down from the second floor to the first. It was true, I learned about it. Before school started, the mess was cleared up. The prank pulled by the Cumberland students was enough to make someone believe that a car had hit the side of the high-school. Evidently, someone called the police.
According to the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, the officer was unable to stop laughing at the whole situation when he arrived. The officer quickly realized that the crash was the result of a prank.
Four seniors, Cody Paul (Konur Pasko), Cody Paul (Adrian Warner) and Jacob Woodley, arrived at the school exactly at midnight on Sunday. They took all precautions to ensure they did not damage school property. They brought the half-car to school and pushed it against a wall to create the appearance of the Pontiac Grand Am GT’s front end.
To make the bricks appear to have been destroyed in the crash, they attached black plastic to the wall. To simulate tire skid marks, the four added electrical tape to the wall behind the rear wheels. This elaborate plan took only seven minutes to complete.
Pasko stated to the publication that he didn’t want his company to stay there for too long as he didn’t want attention.
Pasko was having a conversation with Jon, his father Jon when the idea for the prank emerged. According to Konur’s friend, Konur had bought the Grand Am Friday before the prank. However, the Grand Am had serious suspension issues. They began to wonder what they could do about the car that cost $200. They dismantled the engine and removed the front seats. The remaining portion of the front was then cut.
The prank was appreciated by the local police as well as the principal. Police even tweeted photos and a message about the incident.
Cumberland High School Ritchie Narges stated to the publication, “If this is what our kids are going do the most, then we’re really fortunate.”
