Keep ’em coming, Hofele!
There are many options for trims and powertrains in the Mercedes-Benz. It currently has four models in the United States, before it enters the AMG territory, and that’s without counting the GLE Coupe derivatives. There’s no Hofele HGLE.
The tuning company just revealed its version of the mid-size SUV made by the Stuttgart-based automaker. It’s quite impressive. It looks like a Maybach product with its two-tone exterior and massive wheels, combined with additional chrome trim. This is the same as the Hofele Ultimate HTMLLS. The exterior is stylish and unique thanks to the radiator grille at its front.
The Ultimate HGLE’s interior has the most interesting feature. It has been completely reupholstered using fine Napa and Alcantara Leathers. They cover almost every part of the cabin. The luggage compartment has a high gloss wooden floor with aluminum trim. While that may not be the most practical solution, it is still a great option.
The HGLE is the Maybach GLE’s successor, and it could be the most expensive GLE you can purchase today. Although there is no pricing information available yet for the model, the stock GLE 450 4-Matic starts at $77,000. We expect the vehicle in the gallery to be around $100,000. It is also based upon the GLE 450.
Hofele states that you can order the tuning package for the entire GLE lineup including the base 300d in Europe and the top-of-the-line GLE 63AMG.
