Wild Speed, an independent artist, has transformed the Honda Civic Coupe idea into a full-fledged Type R.

Honda surprised us at the start of the month by revealing a Civic Coupe concept, which is a preview of the tenth-generation model. It will be available in the United States later this year. The Type R version of the model will also be available in the United States, but it was not specified if it would be a five-door hatch similar to the one sold in Europe. The regular all-new Civic will come in sedan, coupe and hatchback versions. This will be followed by the Type R model. Wild Speed created the Civic Coupe concept to be a Type R model. Wild Speed applied a more aggressive body to the car and installed a quad exhaust system that has the tips in the middle, similar to the Corvette Stingray. Red accents are added to the lower sections of this car, as well as wheels and red brake calipers.

The Euro-spec Civic Type R Hatchback has a 310 PS punch thanks to a four-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine of 2.0-liters and mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car accelerates up to 62 mph (100 km/h), in just 5.7 seconds, and then continues to accelerate until it reaches 167 mph (297 km/h).
