A golden lawnmower is also part of the 50th Anniversary collection.

Honda is celebrating a significant milestone in Australia. It has celebrated its 50th birthday in the country. The Japanese marque celebrated the feat by dressing its popular nameplates with gold, which is the metal that represents 50 years.

The Civic TypeR front-wheeled hybrid hot hatch, the NSX supercar, the CBR1000RR Fireblade motorcycle, the CRF450L next generation motorcycle from Enduro, CRF50F Kids Fun bicycle, the EU22i Generator and the HRU19 Buffalo Premium lawnmower are all part of the golden lineup. They launched a golden lawnmower. That’s a great idea.

If you are wondering why the NSX badge is called Honda, it’s because worldwide, except in the U.S., the supercar wears the H badge.

A number of private companies imported Honda products in the 1950s, giving you an overview of Honda’s landmark achievement. It was February 4, 1969 that Honda Motor Company in Japan sent Hidehiko Shiomi, a representative from Japan, to Melbourne to establish a national Honda Australia representation.

“Honda Australia started as a Honda subsidiary, and it was originally set up to sell cars. But, it has grown with the global Honda brand in order to offer a wide variety of products, services, and other useful products,” stated Mr. Hiroyuki Shimizu, Honda Australia’s Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer.

The Civic Type R, and the NSX are the highlights of the anniversary, apart from the lawnmower, golden generator, and motorcycles. These two cars are dressed in black-and-gold livery and bear a striking “50 Years” badge.

Jayden Ostwald, a photographer, took the golden Hondas to an Australian backdrop. This meant tall grass and wide plains. The photographs aren’t filled with wild animals, unfortunately.
