Since 2013, the MPV has been made available in China. However, the manufacturer decided to make the model available in its home country. The MPV is available in a two-plustwo+two seat configuration. In China, it can also be offered as a fiveseater.
Japanese-spec Jade is powered with Honda’s Sport Hybrid DCD hybrid system. It consists of a 1.5 liter direct-injection petrol engine and an electric motor producing 29.5 HP (22kW) and 160 Nm (112 Nm), respectively, powered by a lithium battery. The powerplant is coupled to a seven speed dual-clutch gearbox. The Chinese version of this model comes with a 1.8-liter iVTEC petrol engine.
Jade offers many advanced safety features such as the Collision Mitigation Breking, Road Departure Mitigation and Lane Keeping Assist.
