These two tiny concepts can do anything.
The 2021 Tokyo Auto Salon won’t be happening in-person but Honda has some virtual reveals for the online-only event which officially begins on January 15. Two of the scheduled debuts were made online a little early: a Honda N-Van, dressed up as a mobile cafe, and a Fit hatchback designed to handle any task. Both of them are equally loved by us.
Let’s start with the adorable N-Van. Honda calls it the “3rd Place Van” because of its unique design. The N-Van was covered in stainless steel, or at least it looks that way. It is designed to look like a mobile café. The van comes with a red-and white awning, suitable decorative hanging lights and even a small menu board.
The concept also features unique elements that are not found on the production model, such as the black steel wheels and three amber running light above the windshield. These elements give the concept a mobile café-like appearance.
Honda calls this special build the “HEV Crosstar” for the Fit. The Honda Hunter Cub motorcycle was partly inspired by the hatchback. The suspension is slightly lifted, Toyo offroad tires are wrapped around black steelies, a Yakima roof rack tops it, and additional black body details on top of the beige paint add to the toughness of the styling.
We only have some details about these adorable concepts at the moment. We expect Honda to reveal more information and a few more exciting concepts when the virtual Tokyo Auto Salon officially begins next week.
