It is better to act quickly before the deal is broken.

You are likely in the market to purchase a street-legal, tuned pocket-rocket. There have been a few interesting offers over the past couple months. We shared the V8-powered Miata and even Jesse’s tuned VW Jetta, but this one stole our hearts. This one feels more special than the rest. We’ve seen many modified Honda S2000s. It’s also available for sale.

This 2003 example has tons of upgrades, including new pistons, performance valves and X-beam connectingrods. A performance turbo kit is also available, along with a huge intercooler. The engine receives the air-fuel mixture through a Magnus intake manifold and larger Denso injectors. Full Blown Motorsports fuel rail is used and pump.

This is not all. A modified suspension and 17-inch wheels with drag radiuses give the car a significantly higher performance. The transmission is still stock, but it is now mated with a limited-slip differential. The high-pressure brake system has “race disks” that control all the power.

All features that are not necessary for track use have been eliminated. The heating, air conditioner and soft top have been removed. Who needs heating or ventilation while wearing a racesuit? The good news is that the power windows work, the carpet and door panels are intact, as well as the center console, carpet and door panels. The most important thing is that there is absolutely no rust on the car’s body, or at least that’s the seller’s claim. It has been recently resprayed, so it should look great from the outside.

Although the car is listed at $25,000, the seller said he is open for trades. We recommend that you act quickly if you are interested in the car.
