Honda S660 could be the catalyst for a high-performance S1000

Motoring reports that the model will come with a turbocharged, 1.0-liter engine producing more than 140 PS (103kW). The car is not known much else, but it may have been developed with Mugen and named the S1000. According to the website, the high-performance version will feature more aggressive styling and larger alloy tires.

If all goes well, the S1000 could launch in 2016, and then be followed by an electric vehicle (EV) a year later.
