You can drive the concept in Gran Turismo Sport.
In 2015, Honda filed an application for a patent to design a sports car. It was believed that this would be the new Baby NXX. Although the production version of the proposed car has not yet been produced, it is clear that these patent images were intended for Honda’s Vision GT concept. We are now able to see the Honda Sports Vision Gran Turismo concept. This GT concept, like all the others before it was, was created exclusively for Gran Turismo Sport.
Although it has a similar profile to the original Patent filed in 2015, the actual concept is much more sharp on screen. Although the grille remains, the front fascia and side profiles are much more sculpted. The Honda Sports concept has a more slender look than its patent-image predecessor, thanks to new wheels and a distinct rear.
Although the leaked images don’t depict an interior, patent images filed in July give us an idea of what it might look like. The sporty exterior is highlighted by features like an F1-inspired steering column and a sleek, minimalistic dash. The original patent images also include other features, such as the side-mounted cameras that replace mirrors.
The details of the new concept are still unknown. The concept’s mid-engined version would be powered by either a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine from a Civic TypeR or a 1.5-liter engine with hybrid assistance. It is safe to assume that the concept will have a horsepower output of at least 500 horsepower (372 kilowatts).
Along with 161 total cars , the Honda Vision Sports Gran Turismo and six other Honda vehicles, such as the Project 2&4, NSX, NSX Group 3, NSX Group 4 and NSX Group B Rally Car, the Honda Vision Sports Gran Turismo will also be available at launch. Gran Turismo Sport will officially launch on October 18. A demo version of Gran Turismo Sport is available from now through Thursday, October 12.
