Pagani asked you to create a short video about what’s in your garage, so they can share it with their followers. This is Horacio Pagani’s first request of me to do anything. Although he didn’t call out my name, I felt obliged to fulfill his request. Pagani, the creator of some of the most prestigious hypercars in the world, is Horacio Pagani. Pagani was born and raised in Argentina. He has a passion for both engineering and cars. He followed his passion to Europe, where he worked first at Renault, then Lamborghini.
Legend has it that Pagani began as a sweeper at Lamborghini before he was appointed chief engineer. After a dispute over investing in an Autoclave for carbon fiber components, Pagani quit Lamborghini. Pagani purchased his own autoclave to start Modena Design. Modena Design specializes in engineered carbon fibre car parts for Formula 1. After the success of his design company, Pagani realized that he wanted to start his own car company.
An EType Jaguar was the inspiration that drove Pagani into starting two successful automotive businesses. Pagani tells his childhood fascination with the sensational icon, and spends much of the video explaining why he loves this car.
