Hot Wheels’ ‘Treehouse Track’ Literally Goes up, down, all around

The lap takes three minutes and includes multiple bridges, magnetic lifts, and a race marshal dog.

The Backyard Racing YouTube channel was discovered just before Christmas. It made us feel like children opening presents from Santa Claus. We shared a video of the most amazing Hot Wheels track. It cuts through trees for several minutes. There’s now a track that’s even more amazing.

The Treehouse Mega Track is the latest course, and the video below shows that it is quite fitting. The video begins in the trees and the car descends towards what we believe is the treehouse, just like the Hot Wheels adventure before it. It’s an actual home, built from the ground between two trees. Inside, you will find a living room, bedroom and kitchen. This is because the track runs through an open window and winds throughout the house before reaching another window in the kitchen.

The track continues back to the tree and deck where it began, before turning onto a footbridge that connects another elevated building. All this was done under the watchful eye of the race marshal/guard dog on duty. Although the track does not cross the second structure it circles around to the first of the two zipline bridges made from popsicle sticks. It crosses the yard and sends the car to the ground to corner-carve through leaves. Then it reaches a magnetic lift which pulls the car back up to its treehouse. This is so freaking cool!

For a third circuit, the track winds through tables and chairs, before reaching the second zipline bridge. This will take the track across the yard again, this time to the other building. The track ends with a straight shot to reach the finish line. A final boost sends the Hot Wheels car into a foam box. From the soft landing to the opening roll, it takes 2 minutes and 59 seconds.

Although the video description doesn’t give any details about the time it took, the track was installed at an Airbnb in Tennessee. It appears that there are toy aliens around the course. We’re going to watch the video again to find them. It’s all so confusing.
