Hymer CrossOver and Camper Van Debut with Serious Off-Road Chops

It’s time to get away.

We have the Mercedes you need if you are looking for an overland vehicle. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic more people are choosing to go on secluded camping trips with their own vehicles, creating a huge demand for vehicles that can handle this. Hymer created two Camper Vans that are capable of off-roading. They are perfect for families who want an off-road vehicle that is comfortable and reliable.

Hymer knows that overland campers want convenience, comfort, and ability. Hymer Grand Canyon S is a small but powerful build. However, the ML-T 570, which has more room and features, is for customers who want the best. Hymer begins with the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis. This is the standard for Overlanding builds. You will find everything you need on long trips in the interior, including a kitchen and bathroom with shower.

The Hymer-built overlander is capable of reaching almost any campsite. To ensure this, the team has put together an off-road package. The Hymer team has developed a small lift kit that measures 9.0 cm. This allows for more aggressive off-road tires, which provide better grip and endurance on difficult trails. The Hymer team modified the axel gear ratios in order to accommodate larger tires. This ensured that the Mercedes diesel engine can handle steep hills. A set of LED lights mounted on the roof illuminate dark trails and forests, so you can travel any time of the day.

Unfortunately, Hymer will remain in Europe for American customers for the moment. American customers have many options, including the Winnebago, which is a product similar to the Ford Transit van.
