Hyundai 45 Spied Being Quiet, But Fast At The Nurburgring

This is a very attractive EV.

The is back at the Nurburgring to take part in a high-speed testing session. Our spies managed to capture the electric vehicle lap the track on video. This gave us a better view of its road behavior. It’s remarkably stable in corners and almost adheres to the road for a crossover.
It’s the same prototype as that was spotted a few months back . However, it seems like the test car is wearing more camouflage than usual. Although it’s not the full fabric concealment of earlier this year, the edges of the front bumper have been covered with camouflage foil. Back in May, these pieces weren’t.
The vehicle is beginning to look very similar to the nameake concept at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. Although we didn’t expect that the production model would look as close as the show car, we are glad to see that the designers at the company were given permission to use the unusual styling.

There will be some changes. The production version will feature more traditional, rectangular-shaped light clusters, instead of the pixel-like lamps in the concept. The futuristic side view cameras are being replaced by traditional side mirrors. Most noticeable difference will be the switching to traditional rear doors instead of the sliding doors.

Based on what we know, the production 45 model will use Hyundai’s Electric-Global Platform. Although we don’t know much about the powertrain, word is that the EV will be powered by a dual motor setup. This allows for all-wheel drive and zero emission.

The Hyundai 45 Electric Vehicle (EV) is expected to make its debut sometime in 2021. However, the exact launch date is not known at this time.
