The larger car weighs in at 700 pounds more than the front-wheel drive Elantra. The turbocharged 2.0-liter four cylinder makes 276 horsepower (205 kW) as well as 289 lbft (391 Nm). The GT’s AWD allows the Stinger to lead the Elantra by a significant margin in the first race. The Elantra N starts to move and it maintains pace with the larger Stinger. It even gained on it just before the finish. Although the Elantra was unable to get traction off the line and only powered its front two wheels it wasn’t able to catch up with the Stinger.

The Stinger gets off to a slow start in the next rolling race. This leaves the Elantra with a substantial lead. The second race is more impressive. Although the Stinger has a better start, it cannot pull away from Elantra. The two finish together, even though the Stinger was pulling away at the end.

Although their specs aren’t exactly the same, that doesn’t mean they can’t race on the track. Even though the Stinger GT may have the edge. It’s nice to have more mainstream options, as luxury automakers often make fun-to-drive sedans. Unfortunately, they aren’t being bought by many people.
