It is very similar to the N model but has the same engines.
Volkswagen offers the R Line, Ford has the ST-Line and Kia has the GT Line. SEAT has the FR Line, SEAT is the FR Line, Skoda has the Sportline. These are just a few examples of models that were designed to mimic the look of a performance vehicle, but with regular engines. Hyundai hoped to jump on the “Line” bandwagon in July with the launch i30N Line, and now it’s expanding its portfolio to include the i30 Fastbackn Line.
The N Line is basically a styling package for regular models to fool your friends into thinking you just purchased the full-blown Fastback N model that was revealed at the Paris Motor Show. It takes most of the sporty look of the standard car and blends them with the turbocharged, 1.4-liter gasoline engine.
Hyundai will include larger disc brakes to stop the 18-inch alloy wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires. The engineers also tweaked the suspension settings and chassis to make it more agile. It should be a complete package.
The main draw is the enhanced visuals provided by trinkets like black bezels on the headlights and mesh pattern for front grille. Hyundai also equipped the i30 Fastback N model-exclusive rear diffuser and triangular fog lamps, while the interior features N-branded sport seats as well as a gear shift knob.
Hyundai will offer the HTML30 as well as the HTML30 Fastback, both with the smaller turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine. The cars will be fitted with a smaller 17-inch wheels set but all other upgrades will remain.
By the end of the year, Hyundai will have the i30 Fastback N Line available in Europe.
