Hyundai Palisade is more expensive than Kia Telluride To Rent

The Palisade also has a lower starting price.

Hyundai , and Hyundai both have expanded their crossover offerings in the past year. Telluride and Palisade were the biggest announcements for each. These three-row crossovers look a lot like the Volkswagen Atlas. They are able to cross the line between SUV and crossover, as well as rivals such the Ford Explorer or Chevy Tahoe. Although Hyundai is a premium brand, pricing Palisade under Telluride was a surprising and unusual move. Leasing either crossover will eliminate the price discrepancy.

A new report by Autos Direct shows that leasing the 2020 Palisade will be more costly than leasing the Telluride. This is a bizarre dichotomy. According to the publication, leasing the 2020 Palisade SE starts at $32,595 (prices do not include $1,045 destination fee). The lease will be for 36 months at $359 per month with $3,399 due at sign-up. This works out to $453 per month.

The Kia Telluride is now available at $32,735. The bulletin states that Telluride leases start at $299 per month for 36-months. Dealers will request $3,499 at the time of signing. The true cost for a Telluride lease is $396 per month. This is $57 less than the Palisade and is surprising considering that the Telluride is $140 higher.

Telluride is a strange place, as Palisade. The 3.8-liter V6 engine produces 291 horsepower (216 Kilowatts) as well as 262 pound-feet (355 Nms) of torque. The Telluride offers slightly better fuel economy due to its boxy proportions. However, even the Palisade loves its squares.

It is difficult to choose between the lease and buy-new price. It all comes down to your taste and your expectations. Both are beautiful, well-equipped, and packed with tech and cargo space. Enjoy your shopping.
