Upgrades extend beyond the sporty body kit.
Hyundai has launched N Line versions last year of the i30 Fastback and i30 Fastback. Now, Hyundai offers this attractive package to an SUV. The Tucson will soon be available in N Line specifications. This means that you can buy it with a more aggressive exterior and some subtle upgrades inside the cabin.
The Tucson N Line is not just a cosmetic package to be used with compacts. SUV Hyundai has made adjustments to the suspension and steering setup to make it more comfortable behind the wheel. The springs have been stiffened by eight percent in front and five percent back. Software adjustments have also made the steering feel direct.
The Tucson now rides on 19-inch alloy wheels. They have a dark appearance, which is complemented by black side mirror caps and roof-mounted spoilers. The unique dark mesh pattern on the front grille of Hyundai’s SUV is something that Hyundai fans will notice. Additionally, the bumpers have been specifically designed for the N Line.
The bespoke LED daytime running lamps and a pair of sporty, more supportive front seats round out the changes. To let you know that this Tucson is not your ordinary Tucson, there’s red stitching everywhere, alloy pedals, and N logos visible on the gear lever and on the seats.
There are no power upgrades to the standard model, as with the N Line models. The new Hyundai Tucson N line is available with either front- or all-wheel drive, a six-speed manual transmission or a seven speed dual-clutch auto transmission. It can also be ordered with a gasoline engine and one of two mild hybrid diesels. The first is a four-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine that produces 174 horsepower. The diesels, on the other hand, have 1.6 and 2.0-liter displacements of 134 hp, and 182 respectively.
Rumours suggest that a full fledged N version with at least 340 horsepower is being developed for Tucson. The same report also mentions that Hyundai plans to sell the SUV in approximately two years.
