Hyundai Vision T Concept reveals the Future SUV Design Language of Hyundai This is the next evolution in the Sensuous Sportsiness design. Hyundai will present the Vision T plug in hybrid SUV concept during the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. This seventh study was created by Hyundai Design Center to preview the next generation’s Sensuous Sportiness global design system. The concept is a compact crossover with a muscular front profile and a prominent grille at its front. Its dimensions are similar to the Sonata. These design ideas are part of the new revampedsedanThe Vision T further develops these features. This is especially evident at the front, where the huge grille plays a dominant role. It remains closed when the car’s static. Each cell of the grille design moves in a predetermined sequence once it is in motion. This creates “a truly dynamic forward demeanor.” The Vision T is similar to the Kia Futuron and features an integrated hidden headlamp system that transforms into fully functional lighting when needed. According to the South Korean company, it is “the next generation in Hyundai design innovation,” and we may see similar features in future production models. SangYup Lee (Sensuous Sportiness design language), Senior Vice President of Hyundai Global Design Center comments, “We seek innovative solutions in design and add emotion to our product experience,” The concept, which is finished in matte green, measures 181.5 inches (4.61 m), 79.3 inch (2.01m) wide and has a wheelbase 110.4 inches (2.8m). The Vision T is a plug-in hybrid. It has a charging port that can be found on the passenger side quarter panel. There is also a sliding cover. The car’s plug-in port is illuminated by “Blue Drive”, and externally, the state of the battery charge is visible. The powertrain parameters are not known in detail.
