It takes less than 30 seconds. Way less.

Who doesn’t love a good burnout? We often see American muscle roasting the hides. But the Mercedes AMG E63 S has a reputation for being a muscle car. Its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 603 horsepower (450kW), which is more than enough for a good smoke show. The crazyAMG is a tail-happy beast that craves a daily cigarette. This is in a stock HTML63 S.

Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em:

This AMG is not stock. It’s actually been breathed on by Renntech. It produces 810 horsepower (604 kW) and the owner loves to feed it every day. It is the Gumbal YouTube Channel I was at the Bimmerworld 2019 event, so I filmed the Merc in action. Mercedes Attracting attention to a BMWWe are not surprised by the significance of this event. We are sure even BMW fans were impressed by the incredible smoke show that took place in such a short time.

The burnout actually starts with a dud. After a dramatic countdown, the V8 suddenly blips to health. Then it immediately idles back down with only one revolution to the rear tires. The driver apparently was nervous and didn’t turn off the traction control. However, whoa Nelly makes this super sedan roar to its full potential. The transmission sounds like it is actually in fifth gear. This would allow the tire speed to exceed 100 mph. The car disappears into its own smoke, and the driver notices something is wrong and releases the gas.

Close-up of the driver’s rear tire. Cords visible. Although the passenger-side tire had rubber strips intact, it was completely bald. These are Michelins. We don’t know the exact model, but they could be a Pilot Sport variant with a price of about $400 per tire. This 15-second display of smoke is likely to have cost $800.
