Few Ford vehicles have been as beloved as the legendary RS200. The Group B rally car was introduced in 1984 and has been a success. It is now one of the most well-known cars to ever take to the World Rally Championship (WRC) stages. It is difficult to find one in good condition today due to its rarity. Only 250 of these cars were ever made.
A pristine Ford RS200 was found for sale on ebay in Alfreton (Dereshire, England), with 1,760 miles (2.832 kilometers) on its odometer. with less than 2,000 miles (3.218 kilometers). It is totally original, down to the tires. Even though it has been sold three times, it still retains its low mileage and like-new appearance.
The car’s white exterior and blue stripes were straight from the manufacturer. This is one of the major factors that makes it suitable for rallying. The interior is almost in perfect condition, with the leather seats as well as the plastic dash showing little wear. You can also find the original bill.
The 1.8-liter Cosworth engine is still in good condition. This RS200, which was brand new, produced 250 horsepower (186 kilowatts). However, it might need a tune-up and a new tank of gas to make it road worthy.
