Inkas Seeks Civilized Conflict with Armored Mercedes-AMG G63 Limo

Relax and enjoy the television, while you absorb small arms fire.

We have seen some custom creations by armored vehicle manufacturers before. We’ve actually seen a bizarre Mercedes-AMG G63 limousine. It was stretched and equipped with enough armor to stop bullets from high-powered rifles. But that was the G Class. The company is now back in black, with a new model. All it takes is a 2020 G63. Inkas extends the SUV’s wheelbase up to 173 inches. However, the maximum seating capacity is only four. The SUV’s luxury features include fully reclining captain’s chairs with heating/massaging functions and heated seats. You have the option of Alcantara or leather surfaces. If the view outside bulletproof glass isn’t inspiring enough, there is a powered partition between front and back seats that houses a flat-screen 4K television. The premium audio system is controlled by a control deck between the rear seats.

Inkas does not just build luxurious vehicles. This limo, like the G63 model before it, is fully armored to CEN 1063 BR6 standards. This means that the body can block small arms fire of up to 7.62 and.308 rounds and the floor can withstand the force of two grenades simultaneously. Inkas upgraded the suspension to handle the additional weight. However, the engine output is the same. It already produces 577 horsepower (430 megawatts) from its twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8. This is despite its size. Inkas claims that the armored G63 limousine can be ordered with any number of interior layouts to meet the needs of the buyers. Although the company does not mention cost, it is clear that such a vehicle will be expensive. Inkas’ previous model was priced at $1.2 million. This is probably a good starting point for the new model.
