Lego Technic offers a variety of vehicles that can be assembled. Lego unveiled a 2 020 Land Rover Defender Technic Set in June. Supercars such as the Corvette ZR1 are also available. There is not one McLaren for every model and make. One Lego Technic builder decided to make a McLaren without any instructions. In Lego lingo, these are called MOC (My Own Creation).
It took over two years to build and it is stunning, especially when you consider that there were no instructions. This looks a lot like a McLaren 720S. This vehicle is comparable to other Lego Technic vehicles that you can purchase from the company. It might not have been the most flattering color for showing off one’s skills, but you could add some badges or instructions to it and sell it to McLaren enthusiasts.
The customized Lego Technic McLaren 720S has a modular chassis and bodywork, with manually operated butterfly doors and active rear wing. It also features four-wheel independent suspension. It can open the front hood and steer. There’s also an eight-speed sequential gearbox. The 720S also has a folding display.
With the flowing lines running down the sides of the body, the detail is amazing. The large triangular openings at the headlights are spot on. Everything looks perfect, even the rear. It matches the svelte contours of the real 720S. The Lego Technic Lego supercar has a side scallop.
McLaren 720S, a stunning supercar that also features a Lego Technic counterpart, is already impressive. It took almost two years to construct. The video does not show the many trials and errors that were likely involved, but it does showcase the incredible final result. The builder has instructions for you to follow, but you will have to wait at least a month.
