It turns out that the Audi RS4 Avant doubles as a snowblower.

The super wagon can be driven in heavy snow thanks to its Quattro engine and 444 horsepower.

It’s a sensible family car when it needs to be and a high-performance machine when you get the pedal to the floor. The Audi RS4 avant proves to be even more versatile than we thought. This excellent video from Audiography shows Ingolstadt showing how Ingolstadt’s all in one car can perform the tasks of a snowplow, clearing the roads ahead without breaking a sweat.

This beautiful Navarra Blue Metallic vehicle traveled to Zakopane, Poland at the Tatra Mountains in heavy snow. The RS4 Avant was equipped with 444 horsepower thanks to its biturbo 2.9 liter V6 and the all-paw Quattro systems. It was able to tackle all the snow without any driver concern.

It turns out that the Audi RS4 Avant doubles as a snowblower.

The Quattro setup, as we mentioned in our review the RS4 Avant is rear-biased. 60 percent of the 442 pound feet (600 Newton-meters), torque is transferred to the rear wheels. The Audi family-hauler is lacking the V8 engine found in the Mercedes-AMG C63 estate and the previous-gen RS4 Avant. However, it has all the other features you need and can be used as a full-sized car.

The RS4 Avant remains a forbidden fruit in America, but people can still take comfort in knowing that an RS model similar to it and with rear doors is on the way. Audi has now announced that the RS5 Sportback will go on sale in the USA. The wagon will also be available in the “secret” RS model. This is what Scott Keogh, Audi of America President, said last month. We wouldn’t be too optimistic about it yet, as it could turn out to have an RS Q5.
