Although we didn’t know Jaguar planned a more practical XFRS, these spy photos show the Sportbrake model with a larger boot. This is the more powerful version, thanks to the large air intakes, the beefy diffuser, quad exhaust setup, large alloys with low profile performance tires, larger brakes, and the badge at the rear.

The sedan’s supercharged V8 5.0 liter engine produces 542 bhp (405 kW), and 680 Nm (502 lbft). The regular 2014 XFR-S equipped with the eight-speed ZF gearbox does 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.6 seconds and an electronically-capped top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Due to its added weight, the Sportbrake version may be slower in the sprint of 0-62 mph (100 km/h).
