This is a significant markup on a car yet to be delivered.
Bugatti’s Centodieci was introduced at Pebble Beach in 2019 with a price tag of 8 million euros (before taxes), or about $9 million with current exchange rates. One Japanese dealer is looking to sell 10 of the rare units for 12.5million euros, or approximately $14 million. The problem is that you won’t have the privilege of driving your supercar until next years. A dealer from Tokyo, Japan is selling this particular Cenodieci. He is listed on the Dutch luxury marketplace James Edition. It is a build slot. The actual unit will be delivered to Bologna in January 2023.
Centodieci (which means 110 in Italian) is a tribute to the EB110. It also commemorates Bugatti’s 110-year anniversary of its founding. Despite its appearance resembling a Bugatti Centodieci, it features EB110 design cues on its front fascia. Both the smaller horseshoes and three-section air intakes harken back to the iconic 90s supercar. Centodieci also lost the C-shaped B pillar, which was replaced by five intakes that supply the huge 8.0-liter powerplant behind the seats.
Bugatti’s W16 engine is hidden beneath the glass. The engine produces 1,600 horsepower (1.176 kilowatts), allowing Centodieci’s to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (0-62 miles/h) in just 2.4 seconds. The maximum speed electronically is 380 km/h (236 miles/h). Bugatti or Bugatti–Rimac is in the final stages testing the Centodieci prior to its imminent production. Although all the owners are thrilled for their hypercar of multi-million dollars, one is hopeful that the build slot will sell for the high asking price.
