Six Jeep Gladiator takes show some incredible takes, including a rock crawler or overlander.
Jeep has a long tradition of revealing cool concepts before its annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab (UT). The brand gave the truck a lot of love this year with the debut of the Gladiator pickup. It also showcased six different versions of the truck, including a 1960s throwback version and one that can take you camping deep into the wilderness.

Jeep Gladiator Wayout
Jeep Gladiator Wayout is an overlander that can get you off the grid, and let you stay the night there. Adventurers no longer have to sleep on the ground, as a two-person tent is now located above the pickup bed. The rear glass decal warns that sleeping bags are “soft tacos” for bears. The large canopy extends to keep out the sun from reaching your bed. The party continues well into the night thanks to Amber LEDs.
The customized Gladiator rides on a two inch suspension lift and has two fuel tanks to reach these remote wilderness areas. The A-pillar houses a snorkel air intake, while the 17-inch steel wheels are fitted with 37-inch mud tires. In case of tire refills, there’s an ARB onboard air system that has a body-mounted pipe.
The interior features brown leather seats with topographical maps laser-etched into them.
Jeep Gladiator Flatbill
Jeep Gladiator Flatbill is the ideal vehicle for desert off-road adventures. The body has shorter bumpers to maximize departure and approach angles. Fender flares with high clearance make the most of suspension articulation. Cool is the carbon fiber hood with additional vents.
The truck’s mechanical components include Dynatrac Pro-Rock 60 rear and front axles, and a four-inch suspension lift. Large bypass rear shocks are capable of taking on big bumps. Flatbill is able to ride on 20-inch wheels and 40-inch tires.
There is enough space for two dirt bikes. It is easier to lift dirt bikes from the bed using slide-out ramps.
Jeep Gladiator M-715 Five-Quarter
The Gladiator M-715 Five Quarter concept is a nod to the brand’s history with the M715 military truck of the late 1960s. This refers to the original model’s capability to carry one-and a quarter tons of payload, or five quarters.
The Gladiator is modern underneath. However, the front end is now made of carbon fiber and the back has a six-foot aluminum bed with wooden slats. HID units now have LED auxiliary illumination. The original M-715 taillights have LEDs.
Dynatrac Prorock 60 front axle, and Dynatrac pro-rock 80 back axle are available for off-road travel. The leaf springs are replaced by a link and coil suspension. The beadlock wheels are 20 inches in diameter and have 40-inch tires. The rock rails run along the entire length the body.
The vented hood has something extra because it now houses a Hellcate supercharged, 6.2-liter V8. It generates over 700 horsepower.
Jeep Gladiator J6
Although the Jeep Gladiator can only be ordered with a four-door body design, the J6 Concept envisions the pickup as a more practical two-door. The design of the rig is based on a 1978 Jeep Honcho.
Two doors are removed from the bed, which increases its length by 12 inches over the production truck. Designers then add prototype pieces to the load space, including a body-color spray-in bedliner, and a steel roll-bar with LED lamps at the top. A stinger bar is mounted to the bumper.
These prototype pieces include the five-spoke 17-inch beadlock wheels and 37-inch tires. Two-inch lift kits give the vehicle a rugged look.
Jeep Gladiator JT Scrambler
Before Jeep revealed the Gladiator name in the press, most automotive journalists assumed that the model’s name would be Scrambler. This was because it was the name of the 1980s CJ-7-based pickup. It was finally revived.
Truck’s design is reminiscent of the original Scrambler, with Punk’N Metallic Orange and Nacho body strips and hood graphics. It is fitted with matching 17-inch wheels and 37-inch tires. The truck looks taller thanks to a two-inch lift kit. There are also rock rails running along the sides. The bed features a spray-in mattress liner and a roll bar with LED lights at the top.
Jeep Gladiator Gravity
The Jeep Gladiator Gravity Concept can rock crawl. It has a two-inch suspension lift and 17-inch wheels. 35-inch tires are included. The sides are protected by rock rails. Additional illumination is provided by seven-inch LED lamps at the front bumper and five inch LED projectors at the A-pillars.
The Gravity Concept allows for a wide range of riding options, thanks to its tubular doors and mesh roof. When off-roading, the windshield is secured with tie-down straps.
The back has two-tiered storage with slide-out drawers, and a cargo bag for tying down other gear.
Jeep Performance Parts
Mopar’s Jeep Performance Parts range is growing, in addition to the comments. The company will be displaying components such as a water-proof winch and beadlock wheels.
