Built from 1956 to 1965 the Jeep forward control is one of most unique Jeeps ever made. It was true to its name with a cab-over design on top of a sturdy frame. This made it adaptable to all types of vehicles, including dump trucks and box vans.
This unusual example is found on Craigslist in Jacksonville Florida. It is a long wheelbase FC-170 model and makes the most of the large space aft of it with a converted camper.

It is believed that the camper spent its entire life in Arizona, before it moved to Florida where the current owner took care of it for the past few years. According to the advertisement, the camper’s body was constructed in wood frames and covered with fiberglass
The front end of the Dana 44 was converted to disc brakes, and the wheels and tires also look much newer. The bumper was also purchased by the seller – an option that was available to these trucks when they were new. It comes with an 8,000 lb winch.
The engine in the Jeep is a 283-cubic inch Chevrolet V8. It’s backed by a three-speed manual transmission with overdrive, and naturally, four-wheel drive. The seller claims that the engine runs and the brakes work. However, it is being described as a project by the seller.
