Jeep Scrambler Shows Its Shape, New Details In Dealer Presentation

The Scrambler will be appearing on November 28.

November 28th – That’s when we will see the new scambler. Finally. After confirmation from Jeep, the pickup will make its debut at Los Angeles Auto Show. We now have an official debut date.

This image was discovered by a user via the Jeep Scrambler Forum The following image shows the silhouette of the new Scrambler, along with some key facts. The aforementioned debut dates is one of these facts. Other details include an “Authentic Jeep Design,” Jeep off-road capability,” 15 class-exclusive innovations, and Next generation advanced safety systems.

The image shows us little beyond a shadowy silhouette. spy photos show that the Scrambler will be almost identical to Wrangler. The exterior features include a removable soft roof and plenty of tech inside the cabin, as shown in the leaked presentation.

The powertrain options for Scrambler will be identical to the Wrangler. The Scrambler will have the 3.6-liter V6 that produces 285 horsepower (213 Kilowatts) 260 lb-feet (353 Nm) of torque and the turbocharged 2.0 liter four-cylinder, which produces 270 hp (1201 kW) and 295lb-ft (405 Nm) respectively. The engines can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission. Jeep has not confirmed that we will see diesel or plug in hybrid options.

The new Jeep Scrambler will be available for purchase in 2019 after its unveiling at the L.A Auto Show. The Jeep Scrambler will be built at the same Toledo, Ohio factory that made the Wrangler standard.
