Jeep still makes and sells the Grand Cherokee WKAre you not a fan? You can still get the original Grand Cherokee.

Are you not a fan the new Jeep Grand Cherokee? You don’t have to go to a dealer to buy a WK-generation midsize SUV. Jeep can sell you one “new” without having to remove any mileage from the vehicle.

Jeep still sells the Grand Cherokee, as well as the new model that debuted in September 2021.

The 2022 Grand Cherokee WK is the new-old model. This represents a $13,345 saving over the original $38,720 price.

The 2022 Grand Cherokee WK comes in three trim levels: Laredo E and Laredo X. Limited are also available. All models can be driven in either 4×2 (or 4×4) drivetrains. The only engine options are the tried-and-trued 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 and the 8-speed automatic transmission 850RE.

The new Grand Cherokee WL features the 5.7-liter V8 engine with 357 horsepower (266 kilowatts), and 390 pound feet (528 Newton-meters). The new 4-liter turbo-turbo 2.0-liter four pot produces a total of 357 horsepower (280 kW) as well as 470 lbft (637Nm). The vehicle can travel approximately 25 miles (40 km) on solely electric power.

It’s basically a choice between an older model that offers fewer options, but has significant savings, and a new model with the option of going hybrid. Buyers will be happy with the increased options.

Jeep will not sell the 2022 Grand Cherokee WK until then. We aren’t sure. Jeep’s website allows you to order and build one as of this writing. However, we expect that this will change towards year end.
