The Jeep Gladiator Super Bowl advertisement was released early and the rumors were true. The commercial stars Bill Murray, who plays the role of Groundhog Day. However, this time he is enjoying driving the brand’s new pickup each day.The commercial begins with an alarm clock ticking to 6:00 AM. Sonny and Cher’s song “I Got You Babe” starts playing. Bill Murray wakes up from a nightmare and realizes that he is back in the Groundhog Dayworld. Murray is able to see a Jeep Gladiator after he runs outside, catching glimpses of Ned Ryerson as well as the mayor. The commercial becomes really fun from there.

Murray loves his new Jeep. Even though it is Groundhog Day every day, Murray and Punxsutawney Phil now enjoy joyriding in their pickup. They slide through the snow together, complete with Punxsutawney Phil wearing a seatbelt. Things get even more adorable when Murray plays whack-amole and the rodent takes a bicycle ride in a helmet. They then sit down in chairs on the truck’s bed, and watch the fireworks go off.
