Fiat Chrysler Automobiles officially revealed their five-year plan for Jeep. It includes a new C-segment SUV as well as a Grand Wagoneer.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles officially revealed their five-year plan for Jeep.
The Compass, Patriot models will continue to be produced until 2016, when they will be replaced by the new model called the “C SUV”. The model will be between the Renegade, and Cherokee.
The company will give the model a mid-cycle facelift to coincide with its 75th anniversary in 2016. The company will unveil a new Renegade and a Wrangler a year later. These models will likely be taller than their predecessor.
In late 2015, the Grand Cherokee received a second facelift before being replaced in 2017 by an entirely new model. In 2018, a new Grand Wagoneer will join it.
Jeep will add new models to their lineup and increase their annual production to 1.9million units by 2018. Jeep will open approximately 1,300 new dealers to support their increased production. Most of these dealerships will be located in the Asia/Pacific region.
